Ask for a gift on the funeral card
On the funeral card or in the death notice, you can ask for a gift to Omogolo Wildlife Trust instead of flowers. You can use this wording as it is or adapt it:
Instead of flowers, you can make a gift in memory of [name] to Omogolo Wildlife Trust online at www.omogolowildlife.org/donate-instead-of-flowers.

How does the family know what was given?
Let us know through the form on this page whose memory the gifts are in, the date of the funeral, and the project donors give to.
Afterwards we tell the family what came in for that project around the date.

Is a gift instead of flowers tax-deductible?
Omogolo Wildlife Trust has been an ANBI since October 2015. A gift in memory of someone is a regular gift. Donors in the Netherlands may deduct it from their income tax for the part above 1% of their income, with a minimum of € 60, up to 10% of their income.

Can the gift go to a project that suits the deceased?
Yes. Choose that project when you give on this page, for example the Seals on Texel. If no project is chosen, the gift goes where it is needed most.
