    With their sponsor run, the pupils raised a record amount for the projects of Omogolo Wildlife Trust. Our compliments to them, and thanks to the teachers, parents and other donors who joined in.

    During its annual festival week, De Kring raised a good sum for our projects. Home-baked jungle cakes filled the tables at school.

The Chimpanzee sanctuary in Lwiro, DR Congo, sent a message to the children and teachers of De Kring in Oegstgeest and Goejanverwelle in Hekendorp.

How to go about it with your class or school

  1. Choose a project together

    Look at the projects we support with your pupils and pick the animals you will run for.

  2. Let us know

    Fill in the form with the name of the school and the project. If you have questions about the projects, add them too.

  3. Donate the money raised

    Pay the amount online on the donation page and choose the project you ran for.

Questions from schools

  1. Which project can our school support?

    You choose from all the projects we support, from Chimpanzees in DR Congo to Seals on Texel. Feel free to let the pupils help decide. If you prefer, you can also leave it to us to send your donation to the projects that need it most at that moment!

  2. Does all the money really go to the animals?

    Yes. 100% of every donation goes to the chosen project. We work for the foundation on an unpaid basis and cover bank charges and other overhead costs out of our own pockets.

    Omogolo Wildlife Trust is a CBF-recognised charity and holds ANBI status with the Dutch Revenue Service.

  3. How does the school pay the money raised?

    Donate the amount online on the donation page and choose the project you ran for. All of it goes to that project.

    Let us know through the form below when the school has paid, so we can tell the project who it came from.
