First Rhinos leave Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Today, the first four Rhinos are leaving the breeding sanctuary to be released in Ajai Wildlife Reserve, one of the areas where the Rhino occurred before their extinction in Uganda. An important milestone: after phase 1 and 2 of Uganda’s Rhino Reintroduction program (Awareness raising and Breeding) they are now entering phase 3: Release in natural habitat!
